• harass, threaten or abuse other users;
• deliberately use offensive, hateful, discriminatory or seriously inappropriate content;
• repeatedly attempt to disrupt another user’s game or experience;
• impersonate another person or organisation;
• manipulate or interfere with FAZAN’s normal operation;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to another account, the FAZAN server or associated systems;
• use automated tools, modified clients or other methods to abuse the service;
• exploit bugs or vulnerabilities for an unfair or harmful purpose; or
• use FAZAN for unlawful purposes.

Normal competitive gameplay, mistakes, invalid words or disagreements about gameplay do not by themselves constitute abuse.

Blocking users

FAZAN provides functionality allowing users to block other FAZAN users.

Blocking is intended to give users immediate control over unwanted interactions.

Users are encouraged to use the blocking functionality whenever they do not wish to interact with another user.

Blocking information is maintained locally on the user’s device.

Reporting abuse

FAZAN provides an in-app mechanism for reporting another user’s username or behaviour.

A report may include:

• the username being reported;
• the reason for the report; and
• optional additional information.

FAZAN does not permanently retain complete game-session or played-word histories on its server and may therefore be unable to independently verify every allegation contained in a report.

Reports may nevertheless be retained and reviewed for patterns of repeated or serious complaints.

Submitting a report does not guarantee that action will be taken against another user.

We may take reasonable action where appropriate, particularly in cases of repeated, serious or clearly abusive behaviour.

Such action may include warning, restricting or removing an account where justified.

You must not deliberately submit false, malicious or abusive reports.

Words used during gameplay are subject to FAZAN’s game rules and lexicons.

Valid words may be displayed to other participants during an online game and stored locally in word-history files.

Words played by other users may be retained locally without being linked to the identity of the player who entered them.

FAZAN does not guarantee that every word contained in its lexicons will be appropriate in every social, regional or linguistic context.

The presence of a word in a game lexicon does not constitute endorsement of that word or of its use outside the context of the game.

FAZAN uses lexicons and language-processing resources as part of its gameplay.

Language evolves, and dictionaries or lexical resources may contain errors, omissions, regional variations, historical forms, unusual words or terms that some users may consider inappropriate.

FAZAN does not guarantee that its lexicons are complete, error-free or suitable as authoritative linguistic references.

Game acceptance or rejection of a word applies only within FAZAN’s gameplay

You must not intentionally:

• alter the application in order to bypass subscription requirements;
• manipulate game statistics or account data;
• interfere with multiplayer communications;
• access encrypted application resources without authorisation;
• reverse-engineer the service where prohibited by applicable law;
• attack, overload or disrupt FAZAN’s servers; or
• use FAZAN in a way that harms the service or other users.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect FAZAN, its users or its infrastructure.

You may permanently delete your FAZAN account from the Account screen in the application.

You may also request deletion through the FAZAN Delete Account page on the KAIROS DIGITAL website if you no longer have access to the application.

Account deletion removes account-associated information maintained by FAZAN as described in the FAZAN Privacy Policy.

Account deletion is permanent.

Once deleted, the FAZAN account cannot be recovered.

Deleting an account does not necessarily cancel an active Apple, Google Play or PayPal subscription. Subscription cancellation must be handled separately through the relevant payment provider.

Certain information may be retained after account deletion where retention is required by applicable law or reasonably necessary for purposes such as legal compliance, accounting, payment records, fraud prevention or dispute resolution.

FAZAN, including its software, game design, graphics, interface, branding, logos, original content and associated materials, is owned by or licensed to KAIROS DIGITAL SRL and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use FAZAN for its intended purpose.

They do not transfer ownership of FAZAN or its intellectual property to you.

You may not copy, distribute, sell, licence or commercially exploit FAZAN or its protected content except where expressly permitted by law or by us.

We aim to keep FAZAN available and functioning reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Online functionality may occasionally be unavailable because of:

• maintenance;
• server or network problems;
• platform-service outages;
• software updates;
• security issues; or
• circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may update, improve, modify or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.

We will seek to avoid unnecessarily interfering with paid access and will comply with applicable consumer and platform requirements.

You may need to install application updates to continue using certain FAZAN features, particularly online functionality.

Older versions may become incompatible with server functionality, platform requirements or security changes.

FAZAN relies on third-party platforms and services including, where applicable:

• Apple;
• Google;
• Firebase; and
• PayPal.

Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

We are not responsible for outages, account restrictions or other actions taken independently by those third-party providers, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

Your use of FAZAN is also governed by the FAZAN Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains what information FAZAN processes, why it is used, where it is stored, and how account deletion works.

FAZAN is a general-audience word game and is not specifically directed at children.

Parents and guardians should supervise younger users’ use of online functionality and purchases where appropriate.

Users should not include unnecessary personal information in their public username.

FAZAN is provided for entertainment, educational and recreational purposes.

While we aim to provide a reliable and accurate game experience, we do not guarantee that:

• every word determination will be linguistically indisputable;
• every lexicon entry will be universally accepted;
• the service will always be uninterrupted; or
• every software defect will be absent.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, KAIROS DIGITAL SRL will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising solely from the use or inability to use FAZAN.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by law.

• seriously or repeatedly violates these Terms;
• abuses other users;
• attempts to compromise the service;
• commits fraud;
• deliberately manipulates subscriptions, accounts or game systems; or
• uses FAZAN unlawfully.

Where appropriate and reasonably possible, action will be proportionate to the behaviour involved.

We may update these Terms when FAZAN’s functionality, legal requirements, payment arrangements or service structure changes.

The effective date will be updated when the Terms are revised.

Where changes are material, we may provide additional notice through FAZAN or another appropriate method.
